Join us in our mission to save lives in Haiti!   Our ministry has operated a charitable medical clinic near the city of Cap-Haitien in Haiti for many years. In addition to the physical location of the clinic, from time to time our staff takes the clinic on the road to remote locations throughout the country. They are serving small villages with no health care providers at all. For a long time, we have recognized the need for an X-ray system for the clinic. As technology has advanced, we can see the time is now!

In addition to the usual medical purposes for an X-ray system, there is a special need in Haiti. Tuberculosis (TB) is endemic in the country. The Haitian government has a program to enroll patients in the long-term treatment for TB, but they require a diagnosis. The diagnosis they will accept is a chest X-ray showing the disease. To our knowledge, there are only two locations in the city that can provide the needed X-ray. In addition to this limited capacity, the cost is usually out of reach for the indigent patients we serve. Without their diagnosis, our brothers and sisters suffer and die.

You can help us!   We have identified a portable X-ray system that we can use in the clinic and also in our mobile outreach. It's a system on a rolling cart which we can actually put in our Toyota Four Runner and take with us! It's expensive, but the people we serve are worth it. For too many years, Haiti has been the place people discard things they no longer need. It's time for Haiti to have the best! We know God will make a way.
